Research on Safeguarding and Enhancement of European Intangible Cultural Heritage

Dear colleagues,

on behalf of the Digital Cultural Heritage School (DiCultHer), I'm glad to invite you to an online public consultation on "SAFEGUARDING AND ENHANCEMENT OF INTANGIBLE HERITAGE BELONGING TO THE EUROPEAN CULTURES".

The DiCultHer network is today participated by over sixty Italian cultural organizations, including 26 Universities, cultural Institutions, Research bodies and enterprises. A network representing competences and interests on cultural heritage that, even though approaching the topic of Cultural Heritage expertise and valorisation in different ways, depending on their respective institutional goals, and from different points of view if about the Digital Cultural Heritage, they all recognize an operative model for the sharing of knowledge and they all elect the cultural 'ownership' and the access to contents as enabling factors for the promotion of training models in line with the needs of the Country system, in Europe, to finally ensure "the right of each citizen to be educated to knowledge and the responsible use of cultural heritage".

In order to allow the widest possible participation at the public Consultation started by DiCultHer, and in particular to involve the European students and education professionals in this cultural initiative, a dedicated questionnaire has been designed and mainly addressed to:

·  High school students

·  University students

·  Teachers and Professors  

The questionnaire is available here (https://form.jotformeu.com/62561393238358) and it will be accessible unitl the end of 2016, when all the contributions will be taken into consideration for the preparation of a Position paper aimed at supporting the Motion for a Resolution of the Council of Europe Assembly tabled by Sen. Paolo Corsini.

Moreover, EGInA will be resposible for the analysis of the gathered information and the possible preparation of one or more related project proposals to be submitted within the framework of the Erasmus+ and the Horizon2020 programmes of the European Union.
